Excerpt:

“Master, why are you sleeping on the recliner?”
I woke to Cindy kneeling in front of me. “I must have gotten bored of those Hogan’s Heroes reruns.” I laughed and stood up when she tried to unbutton my pants. Her pout tore my heart in two.
“I want to serve you.” Her arms hung limp by her side.
“And I want you to. But I’m late for work. Important meeting today. We’ll spend some time together this weekend, pet.”
“This weekend?” Her dour look didn’t show signs of leaving. “What about tonight?” She stood without asking permission. Something she never would have done in the past. Being the hypocrite I was I pointed toward the floor and she dutifully knelt back down.
“I may have to work late.” I rushed to get into the shower not looking back to see the pain on Cindy’s face.
The shower used to be a pleasure palace but lately I soaped up, rinsed off and wrapped up in a towel all in less than five minutes. I knew how much my pet loved it when I washed her hair and she cleaned my cock. She’d added that last chore to her list of daily duties early on in the relationship. Our liaisons always ended with sex. Today I delayed the inevitable by brushing my teeth twice and blow-drying my hair until my scalp burned.
Cindy sat on the edge of the bed eyeing me as I exited the bathroom. She held up my blue dress shirt and red power tie. I dressed without a word. Her silence became my own telltale heart. Unasked questions resounded on her lips. Every promise I’d ever made to honor and protect my pet to death do we part and I did something stupid like this. Right then I made my decision to come clean. But I really did have a meeting and time didn’t allow for confessions.
“Listen, pet. I’ll try to get home early enough for dinner tonight.”
Her face brightened into a huge smile. Those pale green eyes lit up and I knew I’d made the right choice. “Don’t bother cooking. I’ll pick something up on the way home. Maybe those Chinese noodles you love so much.”
“I’ll be ready.” Cindy straightened my tie and pushed me toward the door. “Hurry on so you can go and get home to me.” She kissed my cheek on the way out the door. “I love you.” Those three words were like barbs in my skin.
