The Last Waltz
It’s late in the day but still a good time for a release! The Last Waltz was released at Red Rose Publishing today. It’s a short, sweet romance for only 99 cents!!! And if you use the promo code RedRose10 you’ll get an additional 10% off of that.
Here’s a short blurb:
At ninety, Rose doesn’t have a lot of days left, but her memories are plentiful. The picture beside her bed depicts one of her fondest remembrances. She and Henry once danced under the stars all night long.
A momentous decision pairs with a lifelong friend and she finds that it is possible to reminisce a memory into being…
Can the being be better than the memory?

Are You Ready for some Football?
There’s nothing like Monday night football. One of my favorite things about it is hearing Hank Williams Jr. sing his song (for 22 years)…but no more. He’s been fired by FOX. Read more about that HERE.
If you go to his website you can get a free download of his song/response to Fox and ESPN.
This both intrigues and amuses me. You gotta love a country where everyone can express an opinion!
Appreciation
I appreciate my family, my friends and of course anyone who reads my writing. This week is teacher appreciation week so I’ve been thinking about how we, as a society, appreciate those around us. Everyone I know appreciates our American heroes who defend our rights and freedoms. Most appreciate honesty, caring and trustworthiness in those we work with on a daily basis. Do I appreciate my day job? Some days not at all and some days I have to remind myself of all of those people without jobs. I’ve come to the conclusion that to truly appreciate something you must lose it if even for a short time.
Think about it. We take so many things for granted these days. Most don’t appreciate having a car to get them where they want to be- unless it breaks down. Do you always appreciate your spouse? Or do you only realize how much you depend on him or her when he or she isn’t around? Do you appreciate your pets? Having money to shop for clothing or food? Do you appreciate where or how you live? These are some of the random thoughts swimming through my muddled mind this evening. Take away what you will but tomorrow when you wake up- appreciate it!
Food for Thought…
Talk Like a Pirate, Matey!
Today is talk like a pirate day. What could be more fun? I challenge you to go out into the beyond and speak to at least one person today in your pirate voice. If you’re feeling frisky- dress up and do it!

So True
Love is Love
I have a man in my life is more wonderful than anyone I’ve ever met. He would do anything for me, as I would for him. He doesn’t understand my moods, my tantrums or my never-ending obsessions but he loves me no matter what. He inspires my writing, supports every decision I make and joins in on my wild fancies.
I hope each one of you has someone like this in your life- and if you don’t, keep looking. It is well worth your time and energy.
Have an Author you love but not sure how to help?
This is a great article. I think it’s a bit over the top. These are all great things to do. I have family members who wouldn’t spend this much time helping me! Haha. Seriously, if you have an author you love pick one or two and make his or her day.
