Hello! My name is Rebecca Goings and I’m here to talk about my latest release from Champagne Books, MARK OF THE B*E*A*S*T*, coming September 6th from Champagne Books. It is Book IV from my popular BEAST series. This book follows Mac and Robyn, a jaguar and a snowy owl, two shifters we first meet in Book II, B*E*A*S*T* OF BURDEN, and then find out more about in Book III, NATURE OF THE B*E*A*S*T*.

This book is definitely the hottest one of the series. It’s also the most emotional. I’ve been working on putting more emotion in my books, and I think I’ve really accomplished that goal in this one.

Along with the emotion, there’s some great action, which I won’t spoil for you. I really brainstormed to make it different than the others. When you have a series, you have to make each book different than the one before, or you end up writing the “same” book again and again. I didn’t want to do that, and that’s mostly the reason why it’s taken me 3 long years to get this book written and out to the masses. I needed to really dig in and decide what I wanted to do with this story. I didn’t want it to be lame. I didn’t want readers to see it coming.

I believe this is the best book out of the series. Not just because it’s my new release, but because I’ve since experimented with erotic romance and emotion in my books. Therefore, I believe MARK OF THE B*E*A*S*T* is the book that people will remember when they think of my BEAST series.
