Happy Birthday Marine Corp

Today is the Marine Corp birthday. I know this because my husband was a Marine. I shouldn’t say was because as he tells me, “Once a Marine, always a Marine.” Our annual celebration includes a big steak and a “Yurrahh”. Yes, I’m sure I spelled that wrong and have no idea how to make that sound in person either but I hear it quite often.
Seriously I thank all the men and women who have served their country be it in the Marines, Navy, Air Force, Army or Coast Guard. I appreciate your service and your loyalty and I give you the utmost respect.

I sure will, Tami! We had to go out for steak this evening to celebrate. He thought I forgot. Well, I kind of did when I started the chicken in the crockpot! But I came through in the end.. hee hee
