A Hint of Wicked Is More Than Intriguing..

I’ve just finished reading Jennifer Haymore’s ‘A Hint of Wicked’. Oh my. The characters were well rounded and complex. The setting was magical. And the plot tore my heart out and put it back together, slowly, by the last page.

Sophie, the Duchess of Calton, lost her husband to a terrible war and many years later married their best friend. When Garrett returns it surprises and titillates her at the same time. Such a sweet dilemma to be wanted by two men- but which one does she want? Add children, servants, and other family members into the mix and her decision becomes even more complex.

Readers will find themselves captured by the events in this story but it is the characters that will keep them reading. Sophie is a real woman who is one with her sexuality. Tristan is the proprietor of good taste and wouldn’t think of marring anyone’s reputation. And then there is Garrett. The long lost husband who still stirs her senses and needs her like no one else does.

I recommend you rush out and buy this novel to find our for yourself what solution is reached. It isn’t the preconceived one I saw coming- and that makes this book all the more interesting my dear…
