This is so true for me. Of course I spend my summers resting and relaxing. I don’t wear make up in the summer and I don’t stress over what I’m going to wear. I eat better and exercise more. It’s wonderful. I wish I had this attitude all year long. I’ll have to work on that. I think I need to move to a place where it’s summer all year ’round.
What do you do differently in the summer? Are you relaxed and fun loving or counting down the days ’til the kids go back to school?
Being an empty-nester and living in Bahrain where the temperature can be 44C (don’t know Fahrenheit) at 8a.m., the air conditioning is on everywhere, I just stay indoors and – ahem – read and write. Now, our winters, that’s the time we go out, have parties, picnics and barbecues.
Rohini
I do a lot more outside because I’d rather have hot weather than cold. of course, I don’t live where the heat is as hot as it gets in Bahrain, Rohini!
I’m obnoxious all year round.
I’m glad summer is here. We get nice weather, no more snow…I can get a tan…I’m way too pale….
No kids yet so can’t say anything there….
Where is Bahrian? So do you have winter during the same months as the US? Hmmm, and you like visitors right?
Annette – normall I would agree with you about the warm weather but I spent a lot of time outside- 100 degrees, I want cold now! hehe
JT- I think I knew that about you!
Savannah- thought it was cold there? How can you get a tan in cold weather? Trying to change back and forth from F to C is confusing for this mind of mine…
