Truth or Dare

Posted By Kissa

Which is your favorite. Many pick truth because they feel like it’s a safe and easy way to go. Not always true! Some people choose dare because they don’t want to tell the truth about anything. I dare you to read about my books and tell me which blurb catches your eye. I’ll pick one person from the comments to win their very own set of truth or dare magnets.

Your blurb for My Funny Valentine ALWAYS catches my eye! lol :) I Love this whole letter, but the first part is funny!

I’d like to apologize for our recent altercation. Your wedding was beautiful despite the commotion I caused. I know you didn’t really invite me to the wedding but I was so excited about sharing your special day with you. How was I supposed to know that those rose petals would be slick as snot? I’m surprised more guests didn’t slip and fall into Aunt Bertha’s expansive bosom. She really did take it quite well—I appreciate all of the groomsmen leaving their places to retract my head from between her heavenly globes.

  2. OK, I have to say My Funny Valentine really caught my eye. I LOVE humor in books, and when it’s well-done, it’s amazingly satisfying. Great job! (and I’ll take your dare and raise you one!).

Deb you are such a character- I totally imagined you picking DARE. I dare you to keep reading my books! haha

Seriously, I dare you to wear that awesome t-shirt out. And when people ask, “Who is Kissa Starling?” You can grin and tell all………

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the humor in My Funny Valentine.!!!!

I always appreciate some humor thrown into a story - after all, life does have it’s humorous moments, along with the serious, happy and sad ones.

So, a combination of all of these in a story is ideal.

At my age, I would probably opt for TRUTH.

When I was young, I NEVER REFUSED A DARE.!!!!

Thanks for dropping by Ruth. Is it true you will help me with my next submission? I need more names for a woman’s vagina!

  9. I’m with Ruth…would absolutely take Dare in my younger days! LOL! Not so sure I would opt for Truth even now…hhhmmmm.
I read through all the blurbs just to be sure and I agree with everyone about My Funny Valentine…the cover caught my eye right off too.
Thank you, Sweetie…for sending my the addy.

Thanks for dropping by Phyllis! Humor is a part of life and there’s no wonder it ends up in my writing. Some times you just have to laugh things off and move on! Good luck in the draw!
