To me there is nothing quite like the feel of a book in your hands, as I'm sure many of you agree. I loaded up a Ken Follet novel and took my first step into the digital reading world. I was pleasantly surprised by the Kindle 2. There was no eye fatigue (like with PC screens or PDAs) and after a very short time the device simply disappeared -- I was reading a book. The illusion was so complete I actually reached down to physically flip the page on more than one occasion. If that doesn't sell you, nothing will. I have no quibbles with the device and those I've seen other reviewers make seem more like some sort of disappointment that the Kindle 2 is not a PC. Well folks, it's not a PC. It's a book reader, and it does that very, very well. One other recommendation, get the leather cover. It's secure and I have no plans to remove my Kindle2 from it ... ever.
